Just a reminder that the election is this Saturday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm at the hall. Please come by and vote. Information on the candidates is available on the website.
I am also in desperate need of some pairs of workers to do a shift at the election. Please contact me if you are willing. It is easy work and an excellent opportunity to meet people in your community.
As well there is a small wedding in the summer village on Saturday. Council has granted them temporary permission to park some cars on Larkspur Drive for a couple of hours. Please be patient.
On Sunday, we will be holding an annual meeting. The meeting will begin at 10:00 am at the hall and there will be lunch directly following it. We will be holding a short meeting at 9:30 am for those residents backing on to reserves to provide a general overview of the new dock disturbance standards and how it affects those lots.
And finally, following the AGM and lunch, the Larkspur Natural Area Society will be holding a meeting at 1:00 pm to discuss the future of the 22 acres of land that borders the East side of the Summer Village for anyone interested in information or wanting to join the Society.
